Day 4

Hi all,

This is our last full day at Whistler and what a great day it was.

A few things to know about Whistler is that it is the melting pot of the world up here. You can sit at a table and here at least 6-8 languages spoken around you. Everybody here is from somewhere else and how good everyone gets along with each other. You find out quick that we the people of this planet all have the same thing in common and only our governments have problems with each other. We all are here to pass through our lives and enjoy this great world that God has given us. How did Whistler get its name ? I think it might be from a small ground hog type rodent they call a whistler. They whistle at each other as a warning.

Moving on, Today is sunny and about 75 degrees.

We slept in this morning to rest up for our big ziplining tour. For lunch we had a bottle of courage before our adventure.

Whistler was buzzing as we sat there eating our lunch enjoying the view.

There was a big bike race here this morning. The race started in Vancouver at 5am over 100 miles away and ended here in Whistler Village.

The first group showed up here about 9am. It took us 3 hours to drive it because of how hilly and curvy it was.

The majority showed up by 2 pm. Just to finish was a feat.

There will be 5 lines across the mountain. with the grand finale which is like going off a 32 story building .

We talked this couple into going first to see if the cable holds up.
